UNESCO supports peace process in Afghanistan

UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova has stated that peace process in Afghanistan is so sensitive it does need the International community supports.

 During her speech she addressed the ongoing problems within the Afghanistan education system saying some of the schools are being run by ISIL forces in parts of Afghanistan, therefore education system in Afghanistan should be improved.

 General Director of UNESCO Irina Bokova said,” the main message is that Afghanistan is on the experiencing challengeable process pointing the peace process so sensitive, we decisively believe in Afghanistan peace and we do support it, peace will be ensured by joint cooperation of the countries and donors in Afghanistan.”

 During the inauguration cooperation fund for saving of Afghanistan ancient and historical monuments she urged that we will prevent extremism by saving our monuments.

 Miss. Irina said,” The extremism activities is full of concerns, ISIL opened schools, we don’t know what they teach, and Education system in Afghanistan should be powerful to overshadow other activities within the country.”

 At the end she went on and expressed her concerns over theft monuments from Afghanistan and illegal digging of mines.
