Virat Kohli registers another IPL record
Indian star-cricketer and Royal Challengers Banglore’s (RCB) Virat Kohli secured a place in history on Saturday as the first Indian Premier League (IPL) batter to score 2,500 runs at a single venue.
Kholi unlocked his achievement as he made 11 runs at the Chinnaswamy Stadium against Delhi Capitals.
The right-hand batter also holds the record of scoring the highest number of runs in a season — 973 runs in the IPL 2016 season, Geo News reported. Virat Kohli has five centuries and 46 half-centuries to his name with 113 as his best in IPL.
The 34-year-old is now hoping to cross the 7,000-run mark in the IPL.
Match 48, in the second half of Afghanistan Futsal Premier League Season 4, ended in a 3–3 draw between Arya Forj and Zaitoon FC on Wednesday.
In Match 49, also held today, Noorzad FC delivered a dominant performance, defeating Omid FC 4–0.
Looking ahead, Match 50 will be played tomorrow (Thursday), featuring Perozi Panjshir against Sadaqat FC. Match 51 will see Deyar-e-Sanayee take on Zaher Asad FC.

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced on Wednesday that the 10th season of Afghanistan Cricket League 2025, known as “Shpageeza,” will begin on July 19 of this year.
In a post on its Facebook page, ACB stated that the tournament will be held at the Kabul Cricket Stadium.
The event will run from July 19 to August 1.
The tournament will feature five teams representing five zones of the country, with Kabul serving as the host city.
As part of the ongoing Afghanistan Futsal Premier League Season 4, Deyar-e-Sanayee defeated Etihad FC 6–3 in Match 46, marking the start of the second half of the season on Tuesday.
In Match 47, also held on Tuesday, the game between Jawanan Maihan and Zaher Asad FC ended in a 3–3 draw.
The second half of Afghanistan Futsal Premier League Season 4 officially began on July 8 of this year.
