World Bank to finance plantation lab in Kabul

Officials in Ministry of Agriculture and live stock have stated that a plantation laboratory will be established in Kabul to examine the plantation diseases, saying World Bank will finance the cost of the laboratory to be built in one year.

Officials in Ministry of Agriculture and live stock urged that this is the first laboratory will be built in Afghanistan to examine the Plantation diseases.

Deputy of Minister of Agriculture and live stocks Mir Amanullah Haidari said,” due to diseases on plantations the harvests of the plantation goes down every year,the following laboratory will increased the quality of the harvests up to 40 percent.”

Ministry of Agriculture and live stock spokesman Lufullah Rashid said,” we are planning to be built 12 more same laboratory in different ports of the country, this way we will protect our plantation from different diseases.”

Afghanistan is an agriculture land, where most of its citizens are farmers and their incomes are coming from agriculture industry.
