We Still Need International Aids to Defend: Acting MoI Minister

Acting Minister of Interior Affairs Mohammad Ayub Salangi has urged that we still need the International aids and supports to get equipped with heavy weapons and defend the territory of Afghanistan.

During the week observation of introduction with police he said,” Afghan security forces are capable to defend the country independently after the International withdraws from Afghanistan.”

He claimed we have had significant achievements on ensuring of security within the homeland.

Acting Minister Salangi has declared that lack of financial aids and military equipments are the major challenges of the Afghan security forces to tackle with.

He also stated that if the Afghan Air forces don’t get equipped with heavy weapons, choppers and artillery our combat will be hard enough.

There are about two weeks that International combat missions in Afghanistan to be ended, by beginning of the new year 2015 Afghan security forces are to responsible to ensure security for their country.

Earlier Afghan security officials had said that if the ground Afghan forces don’t have Afghan air supports the combat will be hard enough.
