Woman beaten to death by husband in Farah

A resident of the western province of Farah, angered at his wife’s infertility allegedly beat her to death.
The woman named Khorakai, was punched and kicked by her husband till she died, said officials in Farah province.
Shah Gul Sadid, Director of the Department of Women Rights and Affairs said, “Khorakai was from the Bala Bolok district of Farah and she had been married for 15 years.”
It is a shame that many women in Farah are deprived of their rights and are plagued by domestic violence.
