World Telecommunication day held in Kabul

Officials in Ministry of telecommunication information and Technology have held the world telecommunication day in Kabul where dozens of Afghanistan officials have attended the ceremony.

Second Deputy of the CE Mohammad Muhaqiq said,” there are still people living in remote areas don’t have access to technology and telecommunication, demanding the officials in MoTIT to address their issue within the Afghanistan security council for seeking better solution.”

Meanwhile officials in Ministry of telecommunication information and technology stated that sophisticated plan with the cooperation of World Bank is underway to resolve the following issue.

Deputy  Minister of  telecommunication information technology  Barialay Hessam said,” We have still problems within the telecommunication, efforts have been underway to resolve the issues and waiting to launch a project to tackle the issue named Telcasa where World Bank supports it,”

Officials have also claimed that $200 million from the telecommunication sector is paid for the Government treasury.

One of the big achievements of the Afghan Government has been the Telecommunication services provided for million users in the past 14 years.
