Afghan troops free Raghestan district from Taliban militants

Afghan security forces saved Raghestan district of Badakhshan province from the danger of falling into Taliban’s hands.
Earlier, chief district of Raghestan has announced that hundreds of Taliban fighters have gained control of half of Raghestan district as a result of fierce attacks.
But Shah Wali Adib, acting head of Badakhshan province denied his statements, saying the district is not captured by Taliban.
Adib said that he will introduce the chief district of Raghestan to the judicial institutions due to false statements.
He noted that the armed oppositions of the government have escaped the district and are not able to capture the district.
