Anti-Corruption Justice Center Reviews 16 Corruption Cases
President Spokesman Haron Chakhansuri insisted the review process of the corruption cases of the former governmental officials will also be launched this week.
Efforts indicate that Afghan Government is trying to launch reformation and there is solid intention.
President Spokesman Haron Chakhansuri said, “16 corruption cases which were committed by the governmental officials are under review, later in the second step we will launch reviewing of the corruption cases of the former governmental officials.”
Meanwhile Afghanistan integrity watch members have declared the reviewing process slow, and wished to see the corrupted Ministers to be trailed.
Afghanistan Integrity Watch researcher Nasir Timori said,” We expect the Anti-Corruption Justice Center to coordinate reviewing of corrupted Minister’s cases through the current center, and let no legal excuses to be made.”
Afghan people, members of the parliament have always insisted over publicly execution and trailed of corrupted figures.
Law maker Simeen Barakzai said, “Government should execute some of corrupted officials to show that they have serious intention.”
Earlier members of the anti-corruption bureau had reviewed 450 cases of corruption from the previous Governmental figures and were sent to attorney general office but results yet to be shared with the people.
Attorney General has inaugurated the center of justice, judicial and anti-corruption months ago for reviewing of the corruption cases.
