Army Commanders Order Preparations to Defend Sovereignty
The Commander of Marshal Fahim National Defense University called on Afghan soldiers to head off Pakistan-backed peace talks and be prepared for the fight against terrorists.
Afghan National Army soldiers were gathered on Sunday to remember the Independence Day of the country, but officials again emphasized they must be prepared to fight against terrorists to defend the sovereignty of their country and homeland.
“Do not rely yourself to peace negotiations between Pakistan and Afghanistan, be prepared to defeat the Taliban and Afghan enemies,” Commander Ghulam Sakhi Maihanyar who is in-charge of Marshal Fahim National Defense University called on ANA soldiers.
After the US and NATO forces pulled out of Afghanistan, Afghans will defend the country independently; therefore, Afghan army commanders order the soldier to be prepared for sacrifices to eliminate terrorists.
“Neighboring countries still interfere into our internal affairs, terrorists attack into our soil, I ask you to defend your country by sacrificing yourself,” Jalandar Behnam Chief of Marshal Fahim Defense University emphasized.
Last week Kabul witnessed a large number of coordinated attacks which killed dozens of Afghan civilians and injured nearly 500 which forced unity leaders to call on Pakistan to stop sheltering and nurturing terrorists to perform terrorist attacks and even an Afghan high-level delegations were send to Pakistan to convey President Ghani’s message to Pakistani officials to threat Taliban the same way they threat them in Pakistan.
