At least 40 wounded as car bomb targets Zabul PC Office – Official
About 40 people were injured in a suicide attack over Zabul provincial council office, provincial official said.
Gul Islam Syal, Provincial governor spokesman said that a suicide bomber who was riding a Mazda truck detonated his explosive devices at the gate of Zabul provincial council office.
“Around 1,000 kilograms of explosives were used in the attack in Qalat”, Zabul provincial police Chief Mirwais Noorzai told Ariana News,” around 40 people were wounded in the suicide attack.”
Noorzai added, Three Zabul provincial council members are among the people wounded, and also about three women, nine school students and five policemen are included too.
The health condition of 8 wounded people has been reported as critical.
Another source has reported the number of injuries to 67, saying the blast was so powerful which has devastate the building completely.
