Blast kills three in Kabul

Three people were killed when an explosion went off in Kabul on Tuesday, police said.

The blast happened at 3:50 p.m. in Alokheil area in District 16 of the city.

Khalid Zadran, city’s police spokesman, said that four others were injured in the explosion was caused by a planted bomb that hit a van.

He added that police arrested a suspect in connection with the incident.

No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the blast.

It comes three days after another explosion in Dasht-i-Barchi area of Kabul left five dead and 15 injured. Daesh claimed responsibility for that attack.
