Bus crash kills 17, injures 34 in Baghlan

At least 17 people were killed and 34 others injured when a passenger bus crashed in Afghanistan’s northern Baghlan province on Tuesday, officials said.

The incident occurred in Takhta Sang area of ​​Khenjan district of Baghlan province on Tuesday morning.

Those killed included 12 men, two women and three children, said Ghayour Khadim, head of the intelligence department of the provincial police. 

He said the bus was travelling from Kabul to Mazar-i-Sharif when it crashed.
