Ghani Says Terrorists Tried to Force Gov’t Focus on War Issues

President Ashraf Ghani at the 3rd National Urban Conference has declared that this year, the terrorists’ aim was to persuade Afghan government focus on war issues.

During the conference, President Ghani criticized the lack of urban policy which has taken many victims from people.

He noted that the government has multidimensional views and will never forgets public safety.

“The enemies target was to persuade us focus on war issues, but we address the problems 20 hours every day and we have  multidimensional views to never forget public safety,” said President Ghani.

Ghani insists on the lack of urban policy planning which should have a development direction.

“People do not have  safe properties, but we promises to provide safety,” added President Ghani.

President Ghani has also called Afghanistan ministries full of corruption.

“There are widespread corruption in the ministries, but every one of us should expose the corrupted individuals and the second stage is fighting against corruption,” he said.

Meanwhile, the minister of Urban Development complaint over the existence of challenges against urban programs.

“We still have not succeed to have high quality services, create of balance for the supply of utilities, reduce of poverty and building infrastructures,” said Sayed Sadat Mansouri, minister of Urban Development.

President Ghani stressed on fundamental changes on the situations of the cities; citing 90 percent of government administrative will be transferred to Darullaman streets of Kabul.
