It is scheduled that President Ashraf Ghani to visit Tehran the day after tomorrow for signing strategic agreement between Kabul-Tehran and strengthening political, security and trade relations.

President Ghani will travel to Iran to open a new chapter in Kabul-Tehran relations on the upcoming Sunday.

It has been said that the main purpose of the president Ghani’s 3-day trip will be on reviewing the situation of Afghan refugees in Iran.

A number of political analysts are said to believe that president should focus on the country’s interest in the agreement and prevent the interferences of western neighbors.

“Strenghtening ties with nighboring countries are beneficial for the country but Afghanistan policy should focus on its interest in every agreement.” Taher Hashemi, member of Parliament said.

Ariananews wanted to have presidential citadel’s comments regarding the issue but failed to succeed.

However, Afghan lawyers believe that Iran has never been a good neighbor for Afghanistan and signing the strategic agreement with Tehran cannot end Iran’s interferences in internal affairs of the country.

Iran was the only country opposed of signing the security agreement between Kabul and Washington and was considered it an openining to the continuation of insecurity to the region.

Afghan political analysts emphasized that Iran always supports terrorist groups in Afghanistan.
