IEA declared nine residential complexes state property over the past three years
The Ministry of Justice has announced that over the past three years, ownership of nine residential complexes in four provinces has been officially confirmed as state property.
Together, these developments cover more than 50,000 jeribs of land and include Mullah Terakhel, Sardar Mohammad Daoud Khan, and Mullah Izzat in Kabul; Khalid bin Walid in Balkh; Shahr-e-Naw in Maidan Wardak; Hakim Sanai and Nowabad in Ghazni; and Haji Qadeer and Ishaq Gilani in Nangarhar Province.
Additionally, parts of the Arya, Munsi Mirghulam, Mirwais, and Habibullah Zazai residential areas in Kabul have also been declared state-owned. Meanwhile, several other complexes — including Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan, Munsi Mirghulam, and Mirwais — have been confirmed as privately owned, either in whole or in part.
The Commission for the Prevention of Land Grabbing and the Recovery of Usurped Lands emphasized that all judicial rulings were based on verified documents and credible evidence, and that ethnic or regional affiliation of claimants played no role in the decision-making process.
According to the commission, in addition to these residential complexes, approximately four million jeribs of state land have been reclaimed from illegal occupants across the country during the past three years.
