IEC Member Calls 3RD Presidential Decree Hilarious
Members at Independent Election Commission IEC have called the 3rd Presidential decree on Election, amid officials in Presidential place claimed that the revised Election law will be endorsed by the President incoming Monday.
Officials in Afghanistan Government have brought changes within the context of the Election law and will soon be presented to the President for further confirmation and approval, saying if the following Election law draft is signed by the President it will be operational.
Chief Executive Deputy Spokesman Jawid Faisal said,” The following law will be executed after it’s signed and approved, there is no need for further approval and circulation.”
Members at Independent Election Commission stated that President only can release decree in emergency status, of while the National Assembly members are in their summer or winter vacations.
IEC commissioner Aziz Bakhatyari said,” Part of the Afghanistan’s constitutions has not been executable the two President’s decrees were rejected by the Parliament but the 3rd one which will be released is hilarious.”
Afghanistan is having two election laws approved, the officials are trying to bring some changes within the Election law due to Presidential Election disputes held in 2014 in the long run the National Unity Government was established where the power was shared 50/50.
Lawyer Subhan Musbah said,” if Election law is approved and Parliament begins working that will be an act counted as the favor of someone.”
Both Arg and Sapidar palace had stated that Election will be held this summer, one of the main reasons that delayed holding of the Parliamentary Election was the ongoing disagreement of both leaders in NUG.
