J.D. Vance: Kamala Harris can ‘go to hell’ over Afghanistan debacle
Vance, campaigning in Erie, Pennsylvania, defended former President Donald Trump’s photo-ops at Arlington National Cemetery with family members of soldiers killed in the bombing, despite Trump being warned against it.
Donald Trump’s vice presidential running mate, J.D. Vance, on Wednesday, said that Vice President Kamala Harris can “go to hell” for failing to hold people responsible for the 2021 deadly Kabul airport bombing during the chaotic military withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Vance, campaigning in Erie, Pennsylvania, defended former President Donald Trump’s photo-ops at Arlington National Cemetery with family members of soldiers killed in the bombing, despite Trump being warned against it.
“Kamala Harris is so asleep at the wheel that she won’t even do an investigation into what happened, and she wants to yell at Donald Trump because he showed up? She can — she can go to hell,” Vance said.
A Pentagon investigation into the deadly attack concluded that the suicide bomber acted alone and that the deaths of more than 170 Afghans and 13 U.S. service members were not preventable.
Trump, however, has repeatedly criticized the Biden administration over the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.
