Afghan Parliament will provide the National Unity Government of Afghanistan with a security plan.

The House Speaker tasked the internal, defensive and international commission of the House to jointly work with security officials in order to develop a security plan.

In addition, the lawmakers asked the government to immediately provide educational documents of Masoum Stanikzai, the nominee for ministry of defense to the House for review and approval.

“The nominee for ministry of defense was introduced officially to Wolesi Jirga (The Lower House of Parliament) on Wendsday, but we havn’t received the educational documents and other required documents yet, these documents must be provided to the House as soon as possible to be included in the agenda,” the House Speaker Abdul Rauf Ebrahimi said.

Most of the MPs criticized the government for violating their promises and expressed their concerns about the security situation in the country.

“The government is frozen, they have violated their commitments on security and corruption issues, they are busy with the internal disagreements and if they continue to neglect the people will stand against the government,” MP Abdul Rahim stated.

Another lawmaker Sayed Ali Kazemi insisted on a security plan, said: “we have to find the cause and effects of security issues, MPs understand the security problems and we have to seriously follow the security plan in a joint commission to prepare and send it to the government for implementation.”

Legislator Ali Akbar Qasemi also emphasized the need for a security plan and asked the security institutions to prepare a plan for maintaining the security.

But finally, the House tasked the internal, defensive and international commission to work closely with security organs and they provide it the government for executions.
