Only heavy military equipment can knock down IS militant: Senates

Members at the Meshrano Jirga upper house of the parliament have expressed deep concerns over the insecurity within the country specially the recent activities of the IS militants Daesh in Nangarhar province, saying the Government should either equip the Afghan security forces with heavy military weaponizes to knock down the following militants or to increase US air supports.

Head of the house have insisted that one of the responsibilities of the Government is to ensure security for its citizens and launch necessary security plan to stop the following militants from their activities in Nangharhar.

Recently the IS militants have stormed into one of the districts of Nangarhar province and have destroyed the houses killed the residents and even took the local residents as hostage which includes women and children.

Senators have declared we will not accept the continuation of the following situation where hundreds of our countrymen are suffering from.

Senator Hassan Hotak said,” Daesh militants have stormed into Kot district of the Nangarhar province, killed dozens and has taken several others as hostage, Government should stop this.”

“ The situation is full of concerns, people are not safe, workers, businessmen and even the Governmental workers aren’t safe using highway, this issue should be taken seriously, Afghans can’t tolerate this anymore Senator Gul Ahmad Azimi said,”

Head of the senate house FazelHadi Muslimyar said,” We demand the Government to ensure security for the residents, the Government should take the avenge of the kot residents blood, a delegation should deployed to the scene to review the situation.”

At the end senators have praised the Afghan security forces moral fighting against terrorists, but still demand the International forces air supports to pound the enemies shelters.
