Police Rescue Kidnapped Child in Kabul

Kabul police succeed in rescuing a 6-year old child who was abducted in Paghman district of the capital, Kabul.

The 6-year old child, named Hadeya was kidnapped when she was on her way to mosque with his cousin.

“He threw me in a sack,” said the 6-year old Hadeya.

Despite seeing his daughter is safe now, Hadeya’s father is still not feeling well.

“When I became aware of this issue, I suddenly ran and contacted the police. Thanks to police that rescued my daughter,” said Noorullah, father of Hadeya.

According to police, this is not the first time that the abductor kidnapped a child.

“At first, he ignored to confess. This is not the first time that the kidnapper commits this crime,” said Kabul chief of police, Abdul Rahman Rahimi.

This comes as Kabul police have arrested 388 suspects in the past 21 days which this figure includes Kabul city and around it.

Among the 388 suspects, 62 of them are murderers, 17 of them thieves, 1 looter and 4 suspects who stole the cars number plates.
