IEA spokesman Mujahid to lead delegation at Doha meeting on Afghanistan
The third Doha format meeting on Afghanistan is scheduled to be held next Sunday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday that Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), will lead the IEA’s delegation to the third UN-sponsored meeting on Afghanistan in Doha.
This was announced after a coordination meeting on the upcoming event, which was chaired by Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting was attended by Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Noor Ahmad Agha, the deputy of Da Afghanistan Bank, Abdul Haq Hamkar, deputy interior minister for counter-narcotics, and advisers of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
The participants in the meeting discussed the members of the delegation of the IEA for the Doha meeting, the restrictions on the financial and banking system of Afghanistan, the challenges in the growth of the private sector and the actions of the government against drugs.
The third Doha format meeting on Afghanistan is scheduled to be held next Sunday.
