Taliban Hang Six Hostages in Farah

Taliban insurgents on Monday hanged six people in western Farah province, officials said.

The Provincial Deputy Police Chief, Mohammad Ghaws Malyar, told Ariana News that the Taliban hung six hostages. Those killed included the three soldiers, two policemen and one unidentified individual.

Chief Malyar said that on Monday, the insurgents publicly hanged the men to death in the Juma Bazar area of Bagwa district.

The Taliban has not commented about the incident.
