UNAMA deputy discusses development projects with minister of rural development

Mohammad Younus Akhundzada, Acting Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development met with Indrika Ratwatte, the deputy head of UNAMA and United Nations Humanitarian Aid Coordinator in Afghanistan on Sunday.
Based on a statement issued by the ministry, Ratwatte promised more UN cooperation in rural projects.
Akhundzada meanwhile said the implementation of development projects was an important step and that priority should be given to fundamental projects over humanitarian aid.
