13 Construction Road Projects Inaugurated in Badakshan

Officials in Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development have inaugurated the 13 construction projects in Darwaz district of Badakhshan province, the following projects cost 306 million Afghani and the construction work is practically underway.

The following road which was inaugurated connects each areas of Yaftal payen, Kofhab, Khwahan, Raghistan, Nomi and Mayamee where the length is 568 kilo meter, gradually it will connect to the main city of Badakhshan Faizabad.

Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development Naseer Ahmad Durani who has inaugurated said,” the construction is underway, and it will be accomplished by the end of 2016, we are committed to provide facilities for the residents of the country.”

Local officials in Badakshan province have pariased the following Ministry action for launching construction projects.

Deputy Governor Gul Mohammad Baidar said,” We could easily get hold of our related departments in other states of Badakhshan, and it will speed up our monitoring system.”

Mp Fawzia Kofi said,” Construction such roads will facilitate the life of local residents, after all the local residents will not have to travel to Tajikistan to reach their homes on winter season.”

Officials in MoRRD claimed all the states of Badakshan will be connected by the following ring roads by the end of this year.
