20 Daesh militants killed in Nangarhar

Provincial governor spokesman Ataullah Khogyani said the individual were killed in an air and ground offensive during the last 24 hours in Kot and Achin districts of Nangarhar.
Two more militants were also injured in the attacks, he added.
The source continued that the operation was conducted in Wach Tangi and Alyas Baba area of Kot district and in Tangi Karkani area of Achin district.
According to the report dead bodies of the Daesh insurgents were left behind while some weapons were also destroyed.
Khogyani assured of continued operations against the so-called Islamic State militants in eastern Afghanistan adding that currently an operation under the name of Qahr-e-Silab is underway in five villages of Haskamina district.
Daesh terrorist group has not made a comment yet.
