26 Taliban Militants Killed in Kunduz Operation
Afghan Forces on Friday night stormed the Taliban hideouts in northern Kunduz province, killing at least 26 insurgents and wounding 7 others, Afghan Military said.
The 209th Shaheen Corps told Ariana News that the Afghan Army commando conducted a military operation at Taluka area in Kunduz province, where at least 26 Taliban militants were killed and 7 others injured.
According to the Corps, three Taliban fighters were also arrested by the Afghan forces during the military raid.
The sources added that the Taliban hideouts and a number of their weapons were also destroyed during the operation.
In a separate incident, an insurgent has been killed and three others were injured in clashes with the Afghan security forces in Charboluk district of Balkh province.
The Taliban has not made a comment about the incidents, yet.
