30 killed about 100 Injured in Kabul Terrorist Attacks

30 persons were killed and about 100 were injured in the attacks took place in Kabul city late Monday afternoon officials in Ministry of Health said.

Police officials have stated that one explosion was taken place closer to Ministry of Defense entrance gate, when the Afghan security personnel gathered to assess the area one suicide bomber wearing Afghan National Army uniform has detonated his explosive vests among them.

Initial reports have confirmed the dead of the 24 persons in the attack where the second police precinct chief Sayed Zamanuddin Hussieni and Gen Razaq the brigade supportive commander in Ministry of Defense were among the causalities.

Kabul Police Criminal investigation Chief Fridoon Ubaidi said,” At first one magnetic bomb exploded, after the explosion the security forces came around to investigate about the explosion and take the injuries out of the scene, one suicide bomber wearing Afghan National Army uniform immediately enters among the security forces and carry out his suicide attack, the number of causalities is not clear yet.”

Officials in Ministry of Public health has announced about 100 persons were injured in the attacks where 32 of the injuries were taken to the Ibnisina Hospital for further treatments.

Surgery responsible at Ibnisina Hospital Dr. Mirwais Safi said,” the 6 injuries condition is critical 2 of them are on the operational room, 3 more injuries will be operated we have sent some of the injuries to other Hospitals for further treatments.”

One of the injuries of the attack said,” I have seen the suicide bomber having a bag full of explosive in his back and he was on run after the first explosion, when he reached among the police forces whom gathered to take out the injuries from the scene detonated his explosive materials after the big noise I got hit in my waist and fell down.”

Sources told to Ariana News that advance information about the attack existed and even several sessions were held about the Ministry of Defense will come under the attack.

Taliban have claimed the responsibility of the attacks by sending a message to Afghanistan media.
