80 killed, 231 injured in attack on protesters in Kabul

Hundreds of “Enlightening Movement” protesters have staged protest in the capital city of Kabul, demanding the direction of the 500 mega watt electricity to pass from Bamayan province according to the Master plan, amid the protest explosions targeted the protestors and has killed 62, and injured 197 head of the central Hospitals in Ministry of Public health Dr. Mohammad Salim Rasouli confirmed.

TheJunbish Roshnaye protestors have started their rally from Chawk Mazari the end point was Dahmazang circle, they have insisted that to continue to their protests by holding of tents in the main two roundabouts in Kabul city.

One of the protestors said,” Bamyan has been witnessing no electricity for the past 15 years, the residents are living in darkness.”

“ We demand justice, we should say no to discrimination, we want development for our country the other protestors said,”

Meanwhile other protestors have insisted that we will stay here, and will not leave here until we meet our demands.

One of the motivators of the Junbish Roshnaye Ahmad Behzhad said,” We will not return home until Arg residents doesn’t review our demand, respect the rights the Nation.”

In the mean time the second vice President Sarwar Danish has demanded the Junbish Roshnaye to trust the Government commitments and halt what they are doing.

“Staging protest is our right, this is a National project, why don’t the Governmental officials pay attention to it, the motivators of the Junbish Roshnaye Daud Naji said,”

According to statement released by Taliban they have rejected launching suicide attacks among the protestors, but Daesh militants have claimed the responsibility of the 3 suicide attacks among the protestors which killed more than 62 and injured more than 200 others.

This is the second time that Junbish Roshnaye has held demonstration over the direction of 500 mega watt electricity from Turkmenistan into Afghanistan, where dozens of Kabul citizens have lost their life while attending the following protest in Kabul.
