Afghan delegation visits major production factories in Belarus
A high-level Afghan delegation has visited several major state-owned and private production factories in Belarus to explore modern production technologies, industrial capacities and the possibility of establishing similar factories in Afghanistan.
The delegation, led by Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Attaullah Omari and accompanied by Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce Ahmadullah Zahid, toured factories involved in grain processing, chemical fertilizer and food production, dairy products, sugar, meat and veterinary medicines.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce said the visits also aimed to promote investment, facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge and experience, and examine factory management and operations.
The delegation also assessed the potential for establishing similar production facilities in Afghanistan.
