Afghan Policeman Opens Fire on Foreign Forces in Kandahar

The attacker was killed in the exchange of fires, the source added.
Immediately, the local security officials said they were not aware of such an incident.
Meanwhile, reports suggested that the gates of the airport was shut following the incident.
Late on Monday, the Resolute Support in a statement confirmed that a convoy of its forces was attacked by a member of the Afghan Civil Order Police.
“Three Resolute Support service members in the convoy sustained non-life threatening injuries,” the statement added, “We are reviewing the incident with our Afghan security partners.”
