Afghanistan records increase in foreign visitors
The National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) has registered the entry and exit of 2,970 foreign citizens through the country’s ports and airports during the past month.
According to NISA, the registered figures show that 1,551 people entered the country in the last month of the current Persian year, including 19 females. Another 1,419 foreign citizens, 19 of whom are female, left the country.
The National Statistics and Information Authority said in a post on X that according to the figures registered by this Authority, the most entry and exit of foreign nationals took place through Nimroz port, Herat ports and airport, and Torkham port.
The Directorate of Population Registration Services of the National Statistics and Information Authority is also responsible for registering the entry and exit of foreign nationals through the country’s official ports and airports.
