Agriculture ministry signs rental agreements with telecom firms

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock says a comprehensive contract has been signed between the ministry and telecommunications companies to rent the land on which towers stand.
The acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Attaullah Omari said that with the implementation of this new process, the revenue of the ministry will increase.
Omari added that the Ministry of Agriculture is trying to provide facilities for investment in the country.
Nearly 777 telecom sites are located on government land. Rentals will in future generate almost 223 million afghanis for the government.
