Children Rape Perpetrators Must Be Executed: MPs

Wolesi Jirga on Saturday session condemned the recent gang-rapes of children and asked the judiciary system to execute the perpetrators.

Members of parliament expressed their concerns stating: Children rapes have been increased recently in the country and most of the warlords are supporting these cases.

MP, Habiba Danish saying,” A 12-year-old girl was abducted, raped; the Police HQ is hiding the case because the perpetrators are well-known people who have campaigned for the elections.”

The lawmakers further added: Unfortunately; Afghan children are not safe and the new government must take necessary requirements & serious measures in this regard.

Deputy of the House of Representatives Speaker, Sediq Ahmad Osmani asked the judiciary system to issue a verdict of execute for those who commit these types of crimes.

This comes as a 3-year-old child while playing in a garden and a 12-year-old girl were gang-raped by group of men in two different districts of Takhar province recently.

According to the security official four accused people have been arrested related to the aforementioned case yet.
