Chinese Products to Replace Afghan Domestic Goods: Traders

Scores of Afghan traders were invited by the Chinese Government for booming mutual economy and business ties between the two countries, officials in chamber of commerce and industry have declared the objective of the visit growing business, amid concerns are in rise that the Chinese products will replace the few Afghan domestic goods in the markets the businessmen urged.

The traders have expressed their concerns and warned the Government for not launching serious monitoring to evaluate the International and domestic products, saying the Chinese products will replace the internal goods which are being produced here in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile officials in Ministry of Chamber of Commerce and Industry have stated that a program is underway to support the domestic products in Afghanistan.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry Spokesman Saim Persalay said,” about 50 Afghan traders have been invited to China and the aim of the visit is to boom the economy and strengthen the business ties of both countries, China investors are too keen to invest in Afghanistan.”

Economy experts have expressed concerns over getting too close to Chinese products, saying that move should be precisely done in order not to damage the domestic products.

Pro, Sayed Masoud said,” We are so happy seeing the China rail coming to our country, but still unaware of the further economy outcomes, Officials in Ministry of commerce and industry should precisely launch measurements and take care of the internal products, I m really concerned over this issue.”

Officials in Ministry of commerce and industry have evaluated the visits of the Afghan businessmen from China saying despite of concerns we have still a program underway to support the internal products.

Deputy Minister of commerce and industry Mohammad Qurban Haqjo said,” We are concerned over the domestic products, we wanted to boost the economy by using the railway to transit precious stones, and draw more investments on mining sectors.”

Economy experts insisted that Afghanistan domestic products in dealing with International goods shouldn’t be damaged, demanding the officials in Ministry of commerce and industry to monitor the following issue.
