International forces command center in Afghanistan has stated that Daesh still a threat and both Taliban and Daesh may intensify their complicated terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.

NATO Deputy Communication Resolute Support Mission Charlie Claflin said,” One of our concerns is that Daesh and Taliban may increase their terrorist attacks targeting civilians in coming couple of months.”

He also said, “What we know is the difficult part of fighting still probably in front of us, and we know that the Taliban, they are gonna have tactical successes, they will have some good days and Afghan Security Forces will have bad days ahead, but over all what we look at the ANDSF is at this time verses where they were last year, you think they may have progress and we are cautiously optimistic, the other final thing we are out the specific is positions, the one piece that the Taliban still has as the disposable that has been affected and we are concerned we will continue to be affected is the use of high profile attacks, what we have historically seen it that Taliban hasn’t hesitated to launch bombing in discriminate murder of civilians, so as we look at to the next couple of months, our concern is and our expectation is that Taliban additional high profile attacks.”

Mr. Charlie still declares Daesh a threat to Afghanistan, our main focus is to exert pressure on leadership and Daesh militants.

He also said,“ As you know in the middle of January President Obama approved and provide authority for the United States to begin specifically targeting Daesh, we think the combination of that effort, the combination of ANDSF effort, as well as frankly Taliban fighting Daesh in southern Nangahar, our believe is in the past couple of months, they had their presence in probably in three districts or so, of course we the United States have continued specifically target the Daesh, certainly ANDSF has gone after Daesh down there and we think Daesh is under pressures”.

According to US Gen terrorism issue is regional issue where Afghan Pakistan and World countries participation is a need.

Further he said.”At the end of the day, these issues of Terrorism is regional issue, they absolutely require not only Afghan participation but also Pakistani participation and certainly International community participation at all point, and in all location to address these threats.”

Resolute Support Mission has three authority, protection of the International troops, targeting Al-Qaida, Daesh and supporting Afghan National Security Forces while launching operations.
