Deputy PM discusses private media situation with head of Ariana News
In a meeting with Mujeeburahman Baheer, the head of Ariana News, the Political Deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office, Maulvi Abdul Kabir, spoke about the situation of private media in the country.
Kabir said the private media has an important role to play alongside government media. He also said the Islamic Emirate is committed to freedom of expression based on its principles, and in this area, as much as possible, it has provided facilities for private media to operate and have solved their problems.
At the same time, Baheer said that the private media has maintained a relationship between the government and the nation based on their principles and are still trying to share the real image of Afghanistan with the world.
According to Baheer, some problems experienced by the media have been solved and it is expected that more work will be done in this sector.
