EU to Continue Its Long-Term Support for Afghanistan: Officials
100 representatives of the countries and International Organizations have pledged more $ 15 billion for Afghanistan stability up to 2020.
But the following countries have insisted that Afghan Government should launch necessary measurements and efforts to carry out reformation, continue combating corruption, decreasing poverty and improving of the Human beings rights situation.
EU Deputy Ambassador to Afghanistan George Cunningham said,” Obviously we are very concerned over the security situation, but we are in this conference committing our selves another 4 years, with full confidence, the Government will go forward with the reform program which is important for transparency anti corruption and so on.”
Scores of law makers have declared that this would be the last chance for Afghan Government in Brussels conference to receive such huge amount of financial aids, if the Government fails to meet the requirement, the World community will stop aiding it.
Mp Abdul Qauim Sajadi said,” The international community commitments for Afghanistan is very important, this would be the last chance of Afghan Government receiving such huge amount of financial aids, if the Government fails it would lose its trusts from the Afghan people and the International community.”
Despite of a lot of efforts were launched to eradicate corruption but still Afghanistan is counted as one of the corrupted countries in the world.
