First Session of NATO- EU Officials Held in Brussels: Rahimzai

Officials in Ministry of Finance have stated the first session of the NATO- European Union was held in Brussels on how to provide funds and aids for Afghanistan.

The participants have also talked about providing political supports incoming session for Afghanistan and insisted on the continuation of the United States financial aids for Afghanistan.

In the respond to that issue the US special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan has stated that US aids for Afghanistan will remain the same for the current condition.

Ministry of Finance Spokesman Ajmal AbdulRahimzai said,” Afghan Government is ready to attend Brussels conference , Afghan officials will attend with achievements and will return with full hands.”

Most experts believe that Afghan National Unity Leaders have failed to meet the commitments for the International community to receive further financial aids.

Political expert Yasin Zai said,” NUG leaders have failed to meet the commitments, because they have spent most of their time on sharing power with each other.”

Two day Brussels conference will decide about Afghanistan and conference will be chaired by the President Ashraf Ghani and European Union commission head.
