Four Romanian injured in a blast in Kandahar

A suicide bomber blew his explosives matrials up when Romanian convoy was on way some 8 kilometers (5 miles) south of the military base in Kandahar Thursday morning.
Spokesman of Kandahar governor, Samim Khplwak confirmed the incident saying the blast occurred in Daman district of Kandahar province at 11:00 AM.
The Romania defense ministry claimed four Romanian soldiers were injured in the explosion.
The ministry added the Romanian soldiers were given first aid and later transported to a hospital in Kandahar. They are in a stable condition.
Romania has 625 troops currently serving in the NATO mission in Afghanistan and 23 have been killed.
