Ghani to visit Kazakhstan in series of efforts for attracting regional cooperation
President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will pay an official visit to Astana on November 20 in order to bilateral relations and attract regional cooperation.
Afghanistan Presidential Palace says regional security issues will be in spotlight of the two leaders’ talks. Among other issues to be discussed will be cooperation in trade-economic, educational, transport and logistics fields.
President’s deputy spokesman, Sayed Zafar Hashemi noted that a few agreements would also be signed between the two parts.
Hashemi further added that President Ghani would also have an speech in Kazakhstan University.
President Ghani is expected to meet with his Kazakh counterpart Nur Sultan Nazarbayev, Prime Minister Karim Qajymqan Massimov and other high ranking officials.
In recent years, political ties between the two countries have been significantly progressed.
