Afghan government will start the final consultation about selecting the commissioner of election commissions tonight.

A source on condition of anonymity said, the Presidential Palace has invited the elders and leaders to the ARG to have the final consultation about the selecting of electoral commissioners.

The Presidential Palace has not confirmed the meeting so far, but the source noted that the list of electoral commissioners will be finalized in this meeting.

However, Presidential Citadel in its officials statement has announced that the examination process of the commissioners has been completed on November 16.

This comes as the electoral observing and monitoring institutions claimed that they were not allowed to monitor the examination process of the commissioners.

“We do not know anything about the process, because we do not have any information whether the process was transparent or not,” said Naeem Asghari, head of the Free and Fair Election Foundation of Afghanistan (FEFA).

The Transparent Elecion Foundation of Afghanistan (TEFA) has also said that they have been denied of monitoring.

“We were not allowed to monitor the process in ARG,” said Naeem Ayoub Zada, head of TEFA.

It should be seen that what figures will manage the two important upcoming elections.
