Haqqani meets with new Qatar’s chargé d’affaires for Kabul
Acting Minister of Interior Affairs Sirajuddin Haqqani met Thursday with Mirdef Alqashouti, the new chargé d’affaires of Qatar for Afghanistan, the ministry said in a statement.
During the meeting, Haqqani congratulated Alqashouti on his appointment as chargé d’affaires and said this was important for both countries.
Haqqani also praised the historical relations between Qatar and Afghanistan and assured Doha of continued cooperation.
Alqashouti also thanked Haqqani for his warm welcome and highlighted his efforts and aspirations between Doha and Kabul.
