Insecurity main reason of migration in Afghanistan

United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Afghanistan declares that insecurity and improper political situation in Afghanistan are the main factors which make Afghan youths abandon the country.

UNHCR noted that around 150,000 refugees have seek asylum from European countries which is an alarming rate.

Afghans make up the second-largest group of new arrivals amid Europe’s huge migrant influx, with the UN’s refugee agency estimating that more than 50,000 Afghans have made the trip since the start of this year.

According to analysts, withdrawal of foreign forces, decrease in the international aid, political uncertainty and deteriorating security situation are the reasons ordinary Afghans are suffering from various problems including economical and losing trust on the government.

Afghanistan Minister of Refugees and Repatriation also noted over increasing of insecurity in the country.

“Physical and mental insecurity have caused our youths flee the country,” said, Sayed Hussain Alemi Balkhi, minister of Refugees and Repatriation.

This comes as Insecurity is not the only reason that forces Afghans them flee the country. The Afghan populace also suffers economic discrepancy, social disparity, domestic violence, unemployment and other elementary issues worst affecting masses that are left with a option to search for livelihood in countries abroad. The escalating rebellion and terrorism supplemented with ill-administration, corruption and bad governance have alleviated the probability of betterment at present.
