Kabul residents stage rally over not issuing E-Tazkira
Hundreds of Kabul residents have staged rally over not issuing Electronic National identity cards in Kabul city early Sunday morning.
Among the demonstrators dozens of staffs whom were working for the following department have expressed their sadness over millions of dollars which were spent on the training they have received and now they were made to quit the jobs.
They all demanded the Government to declare the destination of electronic National Identity cards.
What is the reason for not issuing the electronic National Identity cards,the Government should react on it the following law has been approved and passed by the parliament one of the demonstrators said.
One of the staffs of electronic National Identity cards department Wali Khan said,” Government has spent millions of dollars on training that we have received, its time for issuing the electronic National Identity cards to Afghan citizens.”
Dozens of demonstrators whom were the electronic National Identity cards department staffs complained from the Government poor management, saying instead of providing jobs opportunities the Government began to cut jobs by firing us.
The law for electronic National Identity cards has been approved by the Afghanistan parliament and the process of issuing electronic National Identity cards was to begin in the past but due to different challenges and problems the following process has been delayed for the uncertain time and date.
