Kyrgyzstan opens trade chamber in Kabul, boosting economic ties

The Commerce Chamber of Kyrgyzstan has been officially inaugurated in Kabul, a move seen as a significant step toward expanding trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan.

The opening ceremony was attended by Kyrgyzstan’s Minister of Economy and Commerce, Sydykov Bakyt, and Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi.

Officials from both sides said the establishment of the commerce chamber will facilitate the promotion of Kyrgyz products, enable direct business-to-business contacts, and increase bilateral trade volume.

The two countries also stressed the importance of this initiative in strengthening economic cooperation and expanding partnership ties between Kabul and Bishkek.
