Lower House Summons Officials in Emergency Response Committee

Lower house of the parliament has summoned the officials in Emergency Response Committee to address more details on the preparation for natural disaster events where winter season comes in.

Officials in Emergence Response Committee have promised we will reach and response on time along other related Governmental departments in case the country witnesses natural disaster.

They have said,” we have supplied more than 45000 tons of wheat and some amount of foods and none foods materials were stored in our stocks.”

One of the members of the house Shukria Paikan has criticized the poor management and services of the officials in Emergency Responds committee, they are at the end of their job mission they can do nothing for their country and Nation.

Badakhshan representative Zaheer Saadat also criticized the performances of the Emergency Responds committee saying they have done nothing for the vulnerable people across the country we have been the eyewitness.

Deputy of Emergency responds committee Mohammad Tariq Asmati said,” we have stored 45500 tons of wheat, 600 tons of sugar, foods and none food materials, 400 health kits in coming winter for 5 zones.

This comes after Afghanistan has been experiencing Natural disasters on summer and winter seasons and it was the Nation who have paid the prices.
