A number of Parliament Members on Monday complaint over illegal extraction of chromite mines in Logar province.

Logar representatives in Wolesi Jirga claim that Logar police commander involves in illegal extraction of mines in this province.

“Illegal extraction and mines grabbing are still ongoing in Logar and the province’s security institutions involve in it,” said Akbar Istanikzai, logar representative in Parliament.

But Logar police commander says that they have prevented those who involve in illegal extraction of mines.

“We have prevented those powerful who involved in illegal extraction of chromite mines and we will not allow anyone in this province to do illegal actions,” said Dawood Ahmadi, Logar police commander.

Logar representatives in Parliament have also presented documents over involvement of security institutions in illegal extraction of mines.
