MRRD launches power projects in two Provinces
Officials in Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development have launched a power project for two provinces in Afghanistan, saying we will test if the following projects suits then in the long run it will cover all Afghanistan.
113 $ million will be paid by the Aspin and South Korea countries for the cost of the projects.
Meanwhile officials in chamber of commerce and industry have expressed its optimisms saying the following projects will increase the internal products of the local residents in the two provinces.
MRRD Spokesman Ali Akbar Rustami said,” the main object behind these projects is to encourage investors to invest in remote areas of Afghanistan, and to expand the economic activities.”
Chamber of Commerce and Industry deputy Khanjan Alkozai said,” the following type of projects will boost the economy and will create jobs opportunities for the local residents, we as the officials in CCI support such projects.”
Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation Development MRRD has been capable to create 56 mega watt of power in the past 13 years in Afghanistan; efforts are underway to cover Afghanistan.
