Municipality, Democracy International institution launch survey

Officials in Kabul Municipality and Democracy International institution have launched a survey for improving of the civil services for the residents of Kabul city.

Municipality officials have claimed Kabul citizens will witness the results of the new survey which is going to be determined the working priority and will enable the municipality staffs to begin effective programs for the improvement of the civil services.

Kabul city is housing more than 5 million residents coming from different parts of Afghanistan due to different factors which the most ones are insecurity, poverty, joblessness, and poor civil services within the country.

Acting head of the Kabul municipality Abdullah Habibzai said,” Duties intervention, complicated relationships, poor coordination of the related departments, having expert experienced according to needs, complex logistical process, are the solid barriers, which prevent our accessibility on the implementation of projects or providing good civil services for the residents of Kabul city.”

Meanwhile Democracy International head has talked about the joint programs which are going to be launched after the survey.

Head of the Democracy International institution Mark K said,” I hope our small amount of assistance to be useful with the programs which are going to be launched.”

Based on the estimation there about 7 million residents are currently living in Kabul city, who are risking their life facing poor basic services from the municipality address and pollutions.
