NDS arrests suicide bomber in E. Afghanistan
According to a statement released by the Afghan Spy Agency on Tuesday, a bomber was arrested during a clash with the intelligence operatives in central Logar province.
NDS said, the bomber has been identified as Bakhtullah and he was arrested after he sustained injuries during the gun battle in Khushi district.
Bakhtullah has confessed, he was appointed for the attack by a Haqqani terrorist network commander and he was trained by a Punjabi terrorist in Mianshah shortly after he was deployed in Peshawar city, the statement added.
According to NDS, the suicide bomber was looking to target the Chahar Asiab girl’s school.
The anti-government armed militant groups have not commented regarding the report yet.
